1:1 & Small Group Training
This is not a course.
It is a transmission.
Rooted in 18 years of bodywork, Ayurvedic lineage, and the science of the nervous system — shaped entirely around you.
"The nervous system needs time to meet another nervous system. Just as in the animal kingdom — trust must come before anything else can open."— Evangeline Di Michele
A Different Kind of Training
Most Indian Head Massage is taught seated — upright, clothed, contained. Mine is entirely different. Lying down. Resting. Relaxed. Fully receiving. Top off. Slower. Deeper. Far more effective.
I have woven in all of my other bodywork — Tulamassage, The Wave, somatic practice, and 18 years of gathered knowledge — into something genuinely unique. Not a standard treatment taught by rote, but a rich, layered transmission that reaches places most massage never goes.
Woven throughout is breathwork and Polyvagal Theory — the anatomy and physiology of the nervous system, built directly into your training. No separate exam. You learn the theory as part of the practice itself.
A 45 minute treatment as standard, extended to 60. Simple to build into any practice — a beautiful, complete offering on its own.
The nervous system is rocked into rest. The gut — our second brain — is settled before the head is touched. The marma points are worked with presence and intention. Eye movement is observed throughout. The face is held with reverence.
The session ends with the words: "Welcome back."
Offered as a 45 or 60 minute treatment — one of my most popular and lucrative offerings. Clients love it. It is always a winner.
The Full Package
You receive a complete Indian Head Massage as part of your training. You feel the full sequence in your own body before you give it. The map becomes embodied knowledge.
History, the skull and spine, the trigeminal and vagus nerves, Polyvagal Theory, the chakras, the marma points, code of ethics, client consultation, the full sequence, a quick reference card, case study sheets, reflection questions, and a resources guide — with diagrams throughout.
Evangeline is your recipient at key points along the journey — real feedback from the person who trained you, not just at the end, but throughout.
Available throughout your case study period and for one month after certification. You are never left alone with questions as your practice grows.
Qualifying you to offer Indian Head Massage to the public, eligible for professional insurance. A certification that means something because it has been earned.
Bespoke training — 1:1 or 1:2 — held over three full days. The same content, the same depth, the same result, shaped around your group.
The Philosophy
In my years of touch, and in my own personal journey with trauma, I have come to understand one thing above all else —
Over skill, over knowledge, over any sequence of movements — trust and safety are the most important ingredients in this work.
The beginning of every session is a dance. Your own breath in the room is medicine — for you and for them. Body permission is the first sacred moment. And close as carefully as you open.
This is not just how to work the head. It is how to hold a person whole.
"Evangeline creates such an amazing atmosphere in her studio with lighting, sound, greenery and, of course, Tula — her furry assistant! And her head massage is divine! My treat to myself on special occasions — I can't recommend it enough!"
— Jane Gillard

You don't need to memorise anything before you arrive. The touch and the safety you create are everything. Everything else follows.
Places are limited and filled by conversation. Whether you're training alone or bringing someone with you, each journey is shaped around you. If this is calling to you — reach out.
